About Us

The tradition of Emperor Augustus, enjoying the natural beauties while feasting old gastronomic specialties, was renewed by Antun Frlan in 1989.

On the northern side of the island in the hidden bay Zaklopatica (a bay with an unforgettable sunset) Antun Frland opened a restaurant symbolically named, AGUSTA INSULA.

- A tour of the third oldest church in Croatia (St. Luke’s Church, built in the 12th century) and of the oldest lighthouse in Croatia.
- Refreshments of original Lastovo products on the hightest peak of Lastovo with a panoramic view of the islands Lastovo and Palagruza.

- Catching lobster and red snapper with Lastovo fishermen
- Organized traditional Lastovo folklore dances with Latovo national costumes and Lastovo Klape (a group of male or female singers who sing in a special way, typical for Dalmatia).
